In the land of Nod, just east of Eden, a master storyteller relates the story of Genesis. He tells the spirit of God moving over the waters, of the creation of all the plants and animals, and of their naming by Adam. He tells of the creation of Eve. Then Adam and Eve disobey God's command and eat the forbidden fruit. For their disobedience, God expels Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden. To the children listening, the story lesson in the danger of disobeying God's will. The storyteller reminds them that Genesis means "The Beginning." And for all mankind, for all the ages, this is just the beginning.

    1.Come, let us reason together

    Isaiah 1; 18

    2.God is the author of logic & science; He established the World by them.

    3.Luther-a collage professor-was referring to our LIMITED reason as opposed to God's HIGHER reason; in otherwords to come to faith we must realize that WE don't know everything & must therefore depend on what we do know & trust God-Being Who He is-will reveal all we don't know when it is time to do so & not before that.

  • @cf572 Dinosaurs;

    IF dinosaurs weren't in the Garden of Eden or the pre-Flood world it was because they perished as a result of the fall of satan & his angels. Note; God told Adam & Eve to restore the earth; What were they restoring it from? In that case it wasn't God who killed the dinosaurs but rather satan(either deliberately for vengence sake or indirectly as a result of what he chose to become). Thus, Eden can be seen as a left over refuge of what the world had been intended to be.

  • @PHDcsfan on the other hand, until Genesis 12 the Jewish people didn't exist; So unless God's plan is bigger than just the Jews(a fact attested to by the most Orthodox of Jews)the preAbrahamic Patriarchs are screwed.

  • @PHDcsfan in the creative sense yes, mankind are God's "children", But in the personal sense no. I'm a born again Christian, but recently I was watching a

    Modern-Orthodox Rabbi teach on Passover when he brought up that the blood on the doorposts was an act of identification-kind of like someone who becomes a US citizen taking the oath of loyalty-Thus, it's not enough to be born a Jew or even circumcised, the ethnic Jew must become a Jew in their heart & mind.

  • @wiggaroo light exists whether a sun does or not-suns are only an accumulation of gasses that produce light; They aren't light itself-

  • @blkplaya19 "unicorns" are not a texual mistake; true enough, but context is vital. In this case it is referring to Rhinosauras Unicornos(The Asiatic one horned rhino) & the Middle Easter Wild Ox-Not the oner horned chymera horse of modern fantasy-

  • @superindhia given that Adam & Eve are the ancestors of all humanity they most likely looked like those today who could fit in with any people on earth or like multiethnic indivuals today; In their case the most beautiful traits from all three "races."

  • FREAKAZOID HELL I missed this!

  • The Bible is God word. The truth!

  • @Jakegothicsnake How would you know if they were middle eastern there's a good plausibility that they could have been black or white Chinese etc.. The bible doesn't tell us. :]
