BEHIND THE SCENES: Inside the Painting Studio with Michele Bohbot

I had this old table that I did not need anymore, but still loved. You know how hard it is to find a coffee table that you love!

I was thinking about who would benefit from it if I gave it away, and I thought why dont I experiment painting on wood? This was a perfect opportunity to let myself go and see what would happen as a result.

Without fear and great excitement, I started painting on the table. Playing with colors was an enjoyable and great experience, because the brushes would slide in such a different manner than they would on canvas. In fact, it was very sensual, easier, and the colors were even more vibrant. Now, I am looking throughout my house for another item to paint! Its crazy!
