Swamp Boogie Queen. One of the first ever pieces directed by Spencer Antle. Swamp Boogie Queen... of one of the best bands of the early nineties. Shot in Super 8mm film, for a budget of $250 it followed Swamp Boogie Queen from LA's famous Roxy, to the Whiskey-a-Go-Go, to the famous hippie commune the Hog Farm. Swamp Boogie Queen roared across the LA landscape and Abigail Lenz their lead singer was being billed undeniably as "better than Janis" with her roadkilling voice blasts. Their first video when still undiscovered. Raw, real and still dangerous.
