Why is religion all about horror. One would think it is about love. When i hear this nonsense I think of the Egyptian book of the dead which is what brought about the old testament. When we invent our gods we have such fun in making people feel weak. That is how religion has power..Finding weak minded people to scare.

Since the Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, Jews and Christians invented their gods each group has been nasty vengeful and oddly very needing of worship. This is just silly!!

@ooJesusiscomingoo Like I said, I know it will never be too late. I've come to know God better this past year than I ever did and I always feel Their love for me. I hope one day the world remembers that we've never had to do anything to earn God's love or have a relationship with God. It's been there the whole time, all one has ever had to do is seek it out in whatever way they know how.

@ooJesusiscomingoo You very much don't understand the original definition of sin, do you? Which, btw comes from the original greek word for it. As I said, God's love has no condition. Which means it doesn't matter if you're 100% perfect (which no human is) or if you screw up every day of you life, God isn't going to shun you. Ever. To put conditions on love would be an unloving thing to do, and God is not capable nor has the desire to do such a thing.

That's why we all as sinners can come to him through his Son Jesus Christ who died for our sins, that by his blood, whoever believes & repents will be forgiven. God's favour is KEPT through righteousness & Holiness! When we come to the end of this life, we will be judged according to the words of Jesus in the Gospels of Matt, Mark, Luke & John.

No matter how many times we make a mistake, how many times we blunder God is always there with love. And when we come to the end of this life, God will be there with open arms knowing that regardless of our mistakes we did our best in a negatively-charged environment. God's favour has never had to be earned. That was the message Jesus tried to give.

@ooJesusiscomingoo No I cannot, because everything happening recently runs on the assumption that all these earthquakes, powerful storms, etc are recent phenomenon. They aren't. Ever since the earth started spinning there has ALWAYS been extreme events. There has ALWAYS been some nation fighting someone else. We are simply more aware of it because of how advanced communications are. God has no wrath. God is far too loving to be wrathful. Why can't you discern THAT?
