The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints annually commemorates the organization of the Relief Society. In its 167th anniversary, the Ormoc Ward 2 relief society of Ormoc Stake presented a Hawaiian Dance representing the country or place of their choice. Led by an active member of the ward, Sister Dina R. Candelario choreographed the dance with the following participants: Ruby Ann Chiong, Mildred Villaflores, Michelle Calvo, Judith Calvo, Michelle Hidalgo and Mona Manto. The dance is called "Hukilau" which is also the title of the Hawaiin song popularized by the classic Rey Conniff Singers.
