You're 20.
You're 40
You're even 88 years old!
....NO JOKE! I have taught 'em all...every age.
Some trumpet players try everything under the sun to get RANGE, POWER, ENDURANCE.......for years and years and years.....until they finally come see me.
Let's Go! Take a Journey with Me That Will Open Your EYES......WIDE Enough to FINALLY get this part of your playin' DONE!
What's The Hardest Thing To Do On Trumpet? No, it's not getting a good tone! No, It's not playing orchestral excerpts, No, It's not learning how to play Allen Vizzutti's Cascades or...... learning how to play all the changes PERFECTLY on Donna Lee or GIANT STEPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHAT'S THE MOST FREAKINEST HARDEST THING TO DO?
PLAY HIGH!!!!!!!!!!!
PLAY ALL NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PLAY WITH POWER AND ACCURACY!!!!!!!!!!
My youngest student so far has been 5 years old and my oldest student just finished my UPPER REGISTER PROGRAM ...at.......88 years old!!!!
Stop trying to convince yourself that you are satisfied with your limited range and fine being just a jazz or classical player because thousand upon thousands of advanced and pro players sound the same and can't stand out from the crowd.
It seems almost thousands of decent highschool and college players, pros play The Haydn, Arutunian, and countless other concertos and do quite well while another group of great highschool and college players, pros can play changes quite well on Blue Bossa, On Green Dolphin Street, Joy Spring, Giant Steps, etc......SO DECENT CLASSICAL AND JAZZ PLAYERS ARE COMMON!
What else is common? Most of these decent players have a limited or weak range and thus this may be the reason they stick to playing the same worn-out classical and jazz pieces. If I am wrong, we would hear more songs from Maurice Andre and Maynard Ferguson being played.........but we don't because most trumpet players don't have the range!!!
To step out of the norm ( like Maynard, Doc, Maurice, Rafael and others did, you have to be able to use all the notes ...including the upper register ( HIGH C TO G ABOVE HIGH C).....or the extreme upper register ( A above high C and beyond)
Otherwise, you are like a very advanced painter that only has 4 or 5 colors on his/her palette to choose from.....BORING!
How long will you keep playing the way you do before you finally decide it's time for a change?
CLICK http://www.trumpetsizzle.com NOW and quit being a #%S&!!!!!!!!!!! ( just kiddin')
if you got this far then I'll tell you a secret: something near the end of the video after I quit playing is a little off.....what is it?

Man o' Man o' Man!
I didn't think this video needed a play by play explanation. This video is for FUN! It is a WAKE-UP CALL! A Call to Action!!!!
This is my first Triple C video and frankly, I am quite proud of it! ....IT'S FUNNY!
Do not try to get some musical insight out of this video! It just plainly shows how much is possibly with the right techniques and practice.
If you want to view something I have done musically....I have a ton of other videos I am sure you will enjoy!!!
