Peaches The Skunk - Laundry thief

Peaches often steals cloths that are left on the floor or anything else she can get her little hands on that she thinks she might like in her den. She loves my cloths but only if I have warn them. They must have a little stink on them for her to take them. So, to see her steal clean cloths is very unusual. It is very funny to watch her and she will steal a lot of stuff if you let her. I have seen her drag a blanket from the front room all the way back to her primary den (our bathroom) - her secondary is behind the TV in the front room. Then after about 2 weeks she does house cleaning and pushes EVERYTHING back out of her house, and starts the whole process over again. People don't realize how clean and neat skunks really are.

Hehe... it's always awesome watching Peaches do her daily chores - :) She's looking awesome! It's interesting to see how she hordes clothes! I'm sure she's got quite a few "dens" in the house now, doesn't she?

Ya she is a real helper ;-) She acually only has two, her primary under our bathroom and her summer den and primary escape hatch behind the TV. ... although, whe may have a secret den not even I know about !!

They are very cool pets for the right owner. Lots of fun, but lots of responsibility. Same as all pets, just her special needs ... mainly her diet and lots of love.

Hi Mitch and Peaches. its good to here she is losing weight. my sofie skunk was 14 lbs when we got her and had droped to 10 lb, but since winter somehow she put some fat on and her winter fur has doubled too

Oh I know it. My uncle was a trained vet for many many years. He even descented skunks (in the abandoned quarry not where he worked XD ) He never owned one but he swears they make great companions.
