Marjorie Glacier is one of the most photogenic glaciers in Glacier Bay National Park in Alaska. Its tall and sheer face lends itself to half-mile-away closeups for cruise ships. It is some 350 feet thick (100 feet of which is underwater) - taller than the Statue of Liberty, including her entire base.
Just to provide some sense of scale, the section of glacier which falls is around 100 feet tall, about the size of an 8-story building.
