@snortbrick No the beeb used broadcast cart machines to play music,BBC signature tunes and announcements(much as in radio)-the click is the start button of the cart machine, I've used one and have an old ex radio station cart machine at home with several broadcast tape carts that I use and play with.

TV Ark now has it recaptured in higher quality.

There is a silmar BBC1 closedown, compared to that, instead of The National Anthem, They used The same sunset closedown, It used to be on YouTube, but got deleted.

BBC1 and BBC2 overnight is just airheaded rubbish for insomniacs with boring Sign Zone and repeats.
