Man. There is not a genre out there that isn't improved by the inclusion of piano, sois acoustic or synthesized. Fact.

As for the singer, I agree in a way. Far too much direct punk influence for my tastes, but on the other hand it's something you don't hear too often in this sort of band, and one's got to respect a bit of diversity.
