Some of us actually eat what we catch. Yes I practice catch and release especially when i know it's too small or if it's a species that is endangered. Spinning for food, flies for sport.

So what exactly is the point of fishing then? Because if Im going to pay out the ass for the boat, gear, and gas, you can GURANTEE than I am going to have a salmon or trout dinner.
