  • Thank you for remembering that on this day 5 years ago... 3 young men...my son Cpl Nicholas Manoukian (Manny).Cpl Clifford Collinsworth and Cpl Nathan Elrod were taken from this world and our lives way too soon.May they always be remembered until we see them again on the other side. They are missed and loved more than words can describe.Mary Manoukian Calhoun..."Mannys' Mom

  • I served in the same battalion as your son. We went to Humvee drivers course together and had nothing but fond memories of your son, my brother. I was there to help in on to his final flight home. He is never fogotten. He will live with me forever.

  • @chamorita76 May God Bless you for writing and letting me know that Nick will never be forgotten. I miss him more every day and still cannot accept that he will never come home again. His bedroom is untouched....his drums sit quietly in the family room.I really can't wait until I can see him again in heaven ,look into those beautiful dark eyes and hear once again....Hey Mom....I love you.

Nick was and will always be the love of my life......

  • I can't begin to express my grief over your loss. I was enlisted in the Marines from 2002 until 2006. I'm getting commissioned next month for another stint, hopefully one that will last twenty years. At any rate, Marines like your son and his friends are why I'm going back. I can never do enough but I will always try.

  • Thank you so much for your kindness.....I still can't believe he isn't ever coming home again.I miss him so very much.

    God bless you....

  • God bless, thanks for sharing the video, I am a marine mom from 2/6 weapons. Hope you are doing well. Your son will always be remembered.

  • I was with all three in ramadi and I spent alot of time hanging out with them in weapons co before we deployed. The video does them all justice. I pay my respects for their service and for helping us never forget. - CPL J. MacG

  • Ma'am, first off I am sorry for loss. It's been a long time, but it seems like it just happened yesterday. I first met Nicholas in boot camp. I talked to him every night. I was there that night, and the thing that bothers me the most is I could not do anything about it, I would do anything. But your son was not just a great Marine, but a friend as well. Cliff was also a friend. I think about them every day, and I will forever remember them. R.I.P Nick, Cliff, Elrod
