  • You could try getting a better IR filter, a better lens, or run it in the dark. You could also try more LED's, though there's practical limits there.

    you can try to increase the sensitivity of the program and do you which one are you making? A FTIR? Or just a webcam?

    How? That is a real multi touch table, needs a projector, some IR LEDs, camera, glass or acrylic and patience. If you aren't smart enough to realize whats real and whats not maybe you shouldn't post comments

  • The issue may have many remedies. First, a compliant surface such as a clear silicone layer would help. Also, make sure that your camera isn't compensating for ambient light. If it does this, your blobs will be very bright initially and then seem to fade as the camera compensates.
