Real Nice looking dogs. We have florida Cur dogs and we just got a blue eyed catahoula. Great dogs, keep up traditions.

I have owned/fostered several catahoulas. I adopted one out to a lady a deaf cat named Ocean, he chased a bear out from under her carport in Oregon. You won't find a more loyal dog, they will gladly give their life to save yours.

Apparently you have never seen a wild hog destroy property.
Nor do u own a catahoula! They r working dogs and love what they do. Do your research before u judge what others do.

Had to put mine down at 14 this summer. Great dog he was determined to go one piece at a time. Eyes, kidney, liver. His hip joint was bone on bone for two years and it wasn't till the end that it gave him any trouble. He just didn't have the pain switch turned on.

Good-looking dogs, The puppies broke my heart, because our old Cat-a-hula-hips is now 13 & likely won't make it another winter. Best damned dog I've ever owned or seen, bar none.

I have some pups on the way and I am planning on another litter. Should be excellent working dogs. Let me know, I might be able to fix you up. We just lost one of our older dogs about a month ago. You never can replace a good dog. I've been blessed to own more that one, and they have all been Catahoulas.

oi do your catahaulas just bark mate? I'ld like to see one of ur dogs in the bush against a big wild boar. They'ld get ripped up! that aint pig hunting thats just fun and games

Some of our dogs is used in the bush as you say, when we hunt inthe bush we use vest and cut collars, they still get hurt sometimes.
They bark, but our dogs a large enough that when a wild boar breaks and runs, he don't get far. Great fun!
