Time-lapse video of animals around cold-water coral reefs to the southwest of Ireland. Animals are attracted into the field of view by mackerel bait and a photo is taken every minute.

Here we are viewing 15 photos a second, so each second represents 15 minutes on the seabed.

This was taken by the Biogenic Reef Ichthyofauna Lander (BRIL) owned and operated by the University of Aberdeen's OceanlabĀ® for the CoralFISH project.
