Part 2 opens with Viki and friend, Pat, discussing Pat's son, Brian -- and the fact that she'd like to tell Brian who is father is. Tony Lord, Viki's brother--was the father actually. Tony stops in to visit Viki when Viki asks Tony when his wife, Cathy Craig's baby is due? Cathy is Dr. Jim Wolek's daughter and not emotionally stable. Later, Pat finds Tony in the hospital courtyard concerned about the upcoming birth of he and Cathy...and that Cathy actually is NOT pregnant after all and that she's convinced she is. Pat reflects on times when she and Tony were together...when Dorian (played by the wonderfully talented--Nancy Pinkerton, who originated the role of "Dorian") arrives to meddle. Then, a promo for "All My Children".

  • @carrielovejoy---really?? What a shame. I had not heard this. Anyone know how she died?

  • Wow, @CarlD2--I had no idea Nancy died in March 2010 of heart failure at 69. Just looked up George Reinholt and interestingly, he's now 71...born here in PHL and is out of the acting biz...was difficult to work with and would have a hard time being hired by anyone...Jackie Courtney also out of the biz...and sadly, Gerald Anthony (Marco) died in '04 at just 52. Some say "suicide" -- others, "heart attack"...and Judith Light continues happy married and starring in "Ugly Betty" and "Law & Order".

  • @RachelDavisMatthews ... I'm surprised to hear that about Harding Lemay. Most folks seem to hold him in high regard. Sad to hear he was so instrumental in the firing of Reinholt and Courtney.

  • @ILuvEthnicGuys It was that damn Harding Lemay and Paul Rauch who thought George was too disrepectfull and questioned them too often. Harding Lemay convinced Rauch to axe Jackie as well, saying she was a terrible actress. They both went to OLTL and Rauch came over in 83, so Jackie quit, George was already gone. When they both appeared on Mike Douglas Show they spoke about Rauch firing them. The old geezer is on Y&R producing now.............ugh

  • FYI - Cathy was Dr. Jim Craig's daughter. I don't think there was a Jim Wolek.

  • @CoressMorell They are here on YouTube...especially the fight scenes between them that prompted Viki's altered personalities to emerge.

  • RC didn't do write by the 1968 storyline either! The math was all wrong. When Maria came to town in 86, it had been 20 years since she saw Clint, which means Cord was born in 65 or 66, not 68 as the RC version insisted.

  • @phillyvideofan Maybe it's sad for them when they have had all that limelight and then they they are nobodies. Judith Light did not have that problem. I too was incredibly sad to learn of the deaths of these actors i grew up with on TV in its heydey.

  • @CoressMorell Well, to each their own. And I think the sub-par writing dragged the show down more than anything...

  • @CoressMorell I like Starr.
