I think kids should have phones. Some kids make up the excuse that they need one in case of an emergency. Though the parents may think that the child is only making up this excuse just to have a cell phone, it is actually a serious excuse! There are many negative stereotypes to the classic emergency excuse, but a cell phone does that.
