I'm new at this hobby so I started with (12 Gallon) - (54 Liters) tank and I got in there just 4 fish:

i had 3 tiger barbs but 2 of them died,

now i got 11 fish in this tank and the tiger barb is like a friend to my fish :D no fighting is being done...

@dazpanzan i got my 12gallon tank today and i also asked if i could have some polestyrene for the bottom of the tank but the man said it wasnt needed as it came with a frame :/ but i wud preferbly have polestryrene under or something like that

@MarcinM592 yer that is a 12gallon fish tank i just got a 12gallon fish tank today and its quite big! im putting 2 goldfish in mine 1 comet and 1 shubunkin! :)

Looks great, I have just got my first 12 gallon, have mounted it on the stand that came with it. I asked if i should have some 'shock absorbing' material underneath the glass and I was told, its not really a necessity. Is that true? any advice would be good. great tank!

you should get 3 more tiger barbs so they don't nip the other fish. if there's more of them, they tend to just bother themselves rather than everyone
