  • What is that bronze recipient located left of the clutch pedal?

  • Are you referring to the fire extinguisher?

  • You made a comment (jakey130486) in which you removed that "no military vehicles made for the war effort had keys"

You might want to check your reference since you've had fully restored jeep and trailer for 25 years and restored several others.

Again, my jeep is not perfect....

  • yes i do. i've had a fully restored jeep and trailer for 25 years and restored several others i also manufacture sets of side curtains&doors, and some panels, and refurbish horns for jeep spare parts suppliers. the ignition should be a switch not a key and the light switch has a button on the side and matches the choke, throttle and panel lights switches. i have never seen the black plate on a jeep before. new to me. besides that it looks very good. sorry im just one for authenticity.

  • There are two types of switch. Lever and Keyed. The main switch for the lights has two type as well, early and late. The black plate on the dash is for the Tandem Tow Bar. My jeep is not perfect...

  • Argh! Pink key ring???

    SAS? Heh heh heh

  • Yes. That is an original Pink Slipper Key Chain carried by the German Panzer R' down division... hehehe...

  • Das Kühlerbefestigungsstaberl fehlt - lg Puches

  • Do the sparkplug guards really do much? They look undersized and I feel like they wouldn't do much at keeping the rain away from the sparkplugs...

  • Thats beutiful.. the engine sounds great! reminds me on my old albin boat engine with the bolts and spark plugs on the top=)

  • The ultimate put-put-put machine. It's to the men back then what the Humvee is today. And they still managed to fit four guys plus a gunner in one!

Good ol jeep. You can plow it into things and it'll keep on going lol.

  • flathead 4 :D!

  • That a thing of beauty :)

  • gorgeous restoration

  • i would like to have one of these but i would take all the value out of it but i like to see people building thses same as any other car alot of hard work and effort tells u about someone

  • all the WWII jeeps ive seen had no keys
