This song makes me feel strong. Because I am. NOW...I am strong and I done it alone. And I hope he does feel sorry for himself. Because hell had no pity on me when I was there.

It doesn't matter who has hurt you in the past. What matters is you found the courage to stand! We all have our own stories, had our share of fights. Its time to make sure that we make everything alright. My kids deserve something more here. They deserve a life with out tears. God bless everyone and know it gets better. Don't give in on the bad ever!

I hear this song long before my terminally ill boyfriend passed away and new that sooner than later it would apply. The first part of the song hit home hard afterward. I now am that girl who is "doing fine." He will always look over me, hopfully smiling at a strong woman.

Like many other women, I have been there.
Just one question, why do guys break our hearts, then come back once we have licked our wounds, finally moved on, and found someone new? Then we sit there and think about the "what ifs"...what would life be like had he not taken your heart and crushed it...had he stayed and made it work...and the one question you leave us with when you do come back into our lives "Do I still love him after all this time, or is it something better left in the past?"

My ex left me and this was the very first song I heard after he told me it was over and I had him listen to it and he apologized. Who knew a song could be so touching. I love Chris Cagle!
