How to Jailbreak iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch 2G on 3.1 (Mac Only)

******MAC ONLY******

Ok guys, this is the jailbreak preserve for the iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch 2G on Firmware 3.1. First of all you need to already BE JAILBROKEN ON FIRMWARE 3.0 USING REDSN0W and preserving your jailbreak on 3.1.

ALSO A WINDOWS VERSION OF REDSN0W IS COMING SOON ACCORDING TO THE DEV TEAM.

#1.) Search "Redsn0w 3.0 iPhone 3GS jailbreak" in youtube, pick one and follow it.

#2.) Download PwnageTool 3.1.3: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=S70GWTUC

#3.) Download Proper Firmware: http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/ -Save it to Desktop -Only Use Firefox (No Safari)

#4.) Open PwnageTool -Accept All Warnings/Copyrights/Updates

#5.) Choose your device

#6.) Browse for the .ipsw file you just downloaded -Hit yes on confirm -Answer the next question legitimately (Answer right or won't work correctly)

#7.) It will now make the custom .ipsw -(it will take about 10minutes) -Enter password if prompted to

#8.) Exit PwnageTool and open iTunes + Plug in iPhone/iPod Touch -Hold Down Home and Power buttons for 25 seconds, until it recognizes recovery mode -Hold Option key and click restore -Browse for Custom .ipsw file and click ok

#9.) Wait for 15-20 minutes to restore

#10.) Set up as a new iPhone/iPod or click restore from backup
