  • @marycigarettes thanks mate ,,just listened to it ,,a great tribute to a great man ,,added it to my faves :)

  • @xxpiggystardustxx it's called 'michael picasso'..there are handful of versions..live and studio..it's one of ian hunters best songs in my opinion.

  • @marycigarettes i have'nt heard that track about ronno dying ,,can you give me the name ?

  • @xxpiggystardustxx yes mick ronson was such a defining thing him...but we can never really know what would have happened without him..what we do know is that david was an extremely driven person anyway..people say without angie there would have been no ziggy, but once again, how could we know?i spoke to david once in new york in the avery fisher hall..he was the most gracious person.have you ever ian hunters song about mick ronson dying?..its the most beautiful song...made me cry.

  • @marycigarettes your lucky ,ive never got to meet any of bowies band members or the man himself ,,and your correct mike is more of a side man than even ronno was ,,even tho i know without ronno bowie would'nt be who he is today

  • @xxpiggystardustxx that's when he got me too..i had a lovely conversation with him about the track'south horizons' where bowie had him playing'blind' to actual the track...and about new york and us both being big bill even fans and how he took lessons from him....a briliiant beautiful man who in many ways is more of a sideman than even ronson was...he's been with him for such a long time too.

  • @marycigarettes yeah ,,his keyboard playing is amazing ,, ive been a fan of his since aladdin sane
