Winner of over a dozen film festivals, including the Golden Lion in Venice and published in the American Cinematographer Magazine of June 2010, Land and Bread is a piece of art that could only be achived through film.
A quiet journey to a forsaken land where hunger turns the heart into a desert landscape.

With what seems as one single shot trough a day, Isi Sarfati and Carlos Armella developed a technique to achieve this suttle camera movement. Sarfati calls it a human motion control.

@SuperSwanDive It also didin´t make sense to me at first, but according to the director -- Carlos Armella -- the film is about misery, it tells the story of a family that fell in disgrace and lives in extreme poverty, in an undefined third-world country, and the movie is a mirror of how the consequences of the economic system affects human relationships. (I actually had to google about the film because sometimes I can be square as shit when it comes to reading between the lines)
