not entirely true, cockatiels have a life span of around 15 - 20 years, not 70+ like a human
cockatoos and other big parrots on the other hand..... lol

can some 1 help me when i get my cockatiel out of his cage he starts flying every where and hits him self in the walls is that normal and can u tell me how i can stop him from flying away or i need to trim his wings

Hey please tell me how did you teach your cockatiel to stand on your finger like that.
My cockatiel only flies to me when im holding food or sometimes flies on my shoulder..
She is very cute but kinda scared a little too. how did you teach your cockatiel to just climb on your finger like that?

Cool! Just make sure you wull have it for LIFE! They are cute, but take quite a bit of care too.
