Riots

It was incredible witnessing the recent riots on our streets and hearing the media's response to it. It reminded me of the riots in the mid-eighties and the media's vilification of those involved - the stigmatising of our disenfranchised youths as though they were (are) mere miscreants constantly on the lookout for trouble: in their eyes there is no such thing as people with feelings, only those threatening democracy by seemingly attacking the forces of law and order: how dare ordinary people threaten their parasitic livelihoods in a world where all they have to do is read a teleprompter?
