I dont think any of you have ever read the bible enough to be able to qote from it . I like this statement, its easy to find contradictions in it. ok wise guy show me one or better yet show me two or three. heres another good one ,the bible was written by men and men make mistakes. man I know for sure you have never read the book of timothy. but go ahead disbelive,it wont be long untill everyknee will bow, even yours to the king of kings.

I hate religion. In my town the religious people are a bunch of psychotic Jesus-freaks who go around starting fights with gays, blacks and atheists saying we're all evil, it says in the Bible. I've never read the Bible so I don't know if that's true. But I do know that not all religious people are like that. If you ask me, if Christians want respect they have to stop preaching to atheists for a while and start preaching to their fellow Christians. I think faith sometimes feeds mental illness.

I'm not saying that the so-called "holy books" are entirely bad, just that they are human-made. As such they are not perfect.

Waste of time. The author makes assumptions and generalizes. Atheists I know, including myself, wouldn't discard the positive lessons of the bible or any other thought. The bible has many good lessons. The author doesn't address any of the evil the bible dictates. The point of the video is to show that the bible isn't 100% crap. Thanks for pointing out the obvious and adding nothing to the conversation. It's similar to assuming that all theists are against science. Of course it's bull.

Who burns the bible? I've never seen an instance of it outside of satan worship. Anyhow keep your religion to yourself and I'll keep my personal beliefs where they belong.

Also, do everyone else a favor and tell your fellow Christians that it is not their place to lobby the government to pass legislature based on interpretations of religious text.
