The Opera Company of Philadelphia opens the 2011-2012 Season with Bizet's blockbuster CARMEN, performed September 30, October 2 mat, 5, 9 mat & 14 at the Academy of Music, with a FREE, LIVE, Opening Night Simulcast of the opera on Independence Mall. This citywide public event will bring the live performance to a vast HD movie screen at Independence National Historical Park, one of our nation's most iconic spaces.
