  • I'm talking about 4th gens, not the pig 5th gen. There is a reason I did not buy a 5th gen and it is because of the weight. No one can argue weight vs power.

  • @fordr1 The limits of the stock block in a 3v vary, I have seen many doing 500+ with no issues. Camaros are heavy as shit, and they weigh a ton. My car weighs just a few pounds over 3300. Power to weigh ratio is key! A cobalt isn't walking a bolt on 05+, I have seen this race more times than I can count. I have owned Hondas, s2000, rsx, srt-4, camaro, mustang. I know what's up, there's no replacement for displacement!

  • @killakdc5 Also when comparing apples to apples, remember your built and boosted motor is not the same apple compared to a light bolt on LNF car. If you want apples to apples compare to a built and turbo'ed LSx car, in which 574whp can be achieved on a stock bottom end in a LS1. We all know the limits of the 3v sit around 450 which is why you built the motor to go higher. I'm not an idiot and have owned mustangs/Z28's/C5z06. This is my first 4-banger and its fun for what it is. Relax!

  • @fordr1 In addition, i have run a full bolt on heads/cam 04+ Saleen and he got walked pretty hard. You are trying to prove your point by talking about z06's and shit i am not talking about, fail. Seriously sit back, re-evaluate everything and chill the f*ck out. Yes a LNF will take a 99-09 mustang from a roll. Yes a 3v can out launch it at the track for a better slip. Then again i have never disputed these claims, as i said this was a street race.

  • @killakdc5 Wow you are so out of touch it's funny. You talk about 700hp reliably on a built forged motor for your car, and want the same on a 2.0l without a built motor? Those numbers have already been achieved on a LSJ and LNF when built. You are nothing but an internet warrior and fanboi. Also, you are getting worked up about shit i have never said. When did i ever talk about my cobalt running 130+ traps? I didn't it's my daily, and simple bolt ons. Still comparably modded 3v isnt touching it.

  • @fordr1 How is a low 13 stock a turd? How is 700 crank HP a turd? If my car is trapping 130 mph+ how the hell is a cobalt even going to keep up? Are you saying the a cobalt can take on a Z06? NOT LIKELY! A Z06 traps 125-130 mph all day, and they would DESTROY a cobalt!

  • @killakdc5 Point proven. You realize this a roll race in which the FWD car is at less of a disadvantage, and when trap speeds come into play. Thought you knew? 16 years is almost how long i have been doing this as well. You can still be ignorant after all that time as your post represents. When an individual begins directly with insults he has already lost the argument. I never said 5.0s dont run well, ever. The 4.6 is a turd, the entire car community knows this except you.

  • @fordr1 I forgot to mention that my 121 mph trap was when i had 450 RWHP with a horrible 60 ft and a shitty clutch. Now that i have a new clutch, 5.0 stroker forged, and 16 psi, running 574 RWHP. Its said that it will be roughly 11.0-11.2 @ 130-135. I would love to see you beat me. Also mine is a DD that gets 18 mph in the city, and 24 mph on the highway.

    Lets see a cobalt make 700 crank hp and get that kind of reliability. Also lets see it do that kind of numbers for under 7k. NOT HAPPENING!

  • @fordr1 come race me and shut your mouth, all talk! Stock for stock a SS cobalt isnt going to beat a 3v. 3v's run mid to low 13's stock. 5.0's run high 12's stock. Been there done that 100 times. I have been racing and building cars for 16 years!! You are straight up liar. Shut the hell up

  • @killakdc5 I don't understand your comment. I have a z28 that will shit on your 120 trap speed Saleen, point is? Stock for stock an LNF will show a 3v taillights and will get walked by a 5.0 stang. This was a race for fun just to see where the cars stand. Cobalt easily could be custom tuned and drop passenger to beat this car. It's a stupid argument that can go both ways.
