ya i see a lot of gators out there but gators are no joke. Be careful my fishing buddy went fishing in blackwell swamp and came out with a video on his phone of a massive 10-14 footer with a head wide enough to fit a whole body in. The biggest i have seen at arrowhead personally is about 6 feet. If you are really looking for one i would try arrowhead. Theres no one spot, but i've seen two on the beaver creek side. But i have also seen one further east at the pump house. Comment for more info.

I'd love to get more information about where you head from Arrowhead. I assume you mean the boat launch down the long dirt road?

dude i fish out there all the time you look like you are out at arrowhead. I see tons of gators back there you just arent in the right spot. the second week in April is the best time to find them they are out in the open getting there first meals. Cool to watch.

Actually that video was closer to Triana, but I've been to Arrowhead. From the landing, I'm assuming you go northeast to the backwaters to find the gators? Is there a better place to put in than Arrowhead to go find them? Help a gator lover out!

I'm sure you've gotten these boats wet by now, but I gotta tell you I love mine. Sorry it took so long for me to report back, I missed the notice that you'd posted this comment.
I LOVE my Vapor. It's stable, fast and fun. I can easily outfly my friends in my 14 foot canoe, and I was afraid the longer canoe would be faster. I use it every weekend I can, and it is a JOY! Let me know if you've used your boats! I've not come close to tipping over!
