When i saw your unopened cans of chili, it reminded me of once when i decided to "warm up" some canned green beans. the green beans have a significant amount of water in them which quickly turned to steam! the ensuing explosion was quite impressive,blowing the lid of my grill open and bending it. my steak was never found; nor any of the beans, only shrapnel from the can. also apparently my weld wasn't so good on the handle because I found it in the street 30 or so feet away. chilly is immune!

@sbhministry idk if you are still there, but if you lay aluminum metal sheets around the inside and an iron or thicker aluminum sheet and spray paint it black you can get the oven to a good 350 or higher on a sunny day like that. for about 10 bucks more. well atleast thats the price in the united states, i don't know about if you can get your hand on cheap products like that down there though.

good job black painted inside like said already will collect the heat better.

Great oven! If you would actually paint it inside with non toxic flat black acrylic paint you will boost the temps more, possibly, reaching 350. Hope you do more posting of you cooking in this oven!
