As I watched this in the theater I thought, 'what is this? a children's movie?' I almost walked out. But I stayed to the very end and was so glad I did. Finally Thomas Edison made sense. The ending of this film blew my mind. Absolutely loved it. Can't wait for it to come out on Blueray.

Why did this movie receive such moderate reception? There were no flaws I could find in the acting, and the humor seemed to be clever, but not ruin the mood of the story by going too far. Also, it's amazing how well the story fits in with the Wizard of Oz movie classic. Also, the early twentieth century setting in the beginning seemed authentic :D
