There were other factors in the decline of the company (changing consumer habits, high commodity prices). WSJ also reported that creditors noted executive pay manipulation (higher pay) just before Hostess filed Chapter 11. Yet 18,500 workers were asked to take a 27% pay cut? Next time your employer cuts your salary by 27%, let me know if you can still afford to pay your bills, and how vital that job is to your existence when it doesn't cover your living expenses.

.... well... none of any norwegian citizens has felt the impact of the crisis yet, and i doubt they will. however sweeden, finland and denmark is doing remarkably well as well. and that's because (i think we aggree) we have adopted free market into a socialist society. roughly speaking ofcourse.
