sometimes doctors seem to focus far to much on the addictive potential and negative things about benzos, i mean at the end of the day a chemical medication no matter what it is has the potential to do harm in some people. all the alarms going off about benzos just takes away the good side to them for those that need them and are leaving some poor people to suffer just cos some docs are too cautious in prescribing just encouraging people to buy them illegally or get into even worse drugs

@Mmmousemaid What? That's not right at all. I have taken clonazepam before and have never had issues. It is pretty addictive though, and you reach a point where 1 pill isn't enough and you have to go for more (and so on).

i loved valium because i couldnt sleep,pain, and nerve issues...the muscle relaxing qualities helped me stay away from oxycodone....i wouldnt take acetameniphen stomach problems and usually get very sick..i have been off my meds for about a month with no doctor....b4 this 3 days of restarting generic from non...3 months b4 that....nothing i lied to him.....felt bad told him cuz he said i was doing much better...b4 that 3 months of 1-3 pills per week, 1-3 was daily..dose....so live with it?love

i was on clonaepam because i have anxiety bad and get very physically sick, like hospital sick and then they tell me nothing is wrong with me. I didn't notice much difference while on it , I still wanted to hide away...but i didn't get violently ill like i would. The medication scared me because it is addictive . I stopped on my own and i am back to getting sick and hiding in my house. If I am not going out and I don't work I don't get sick . sigh.. Fun life :/

Adderall + very low dose clonazepam worked great for me. Adderall gave me heart palpitations so I had to stop taking it though

If you know you're going to be on pills for the rest of your life you might as well go with benzos. I've been on 2mg-3x a day for 9 years and haven't had an anxiety attack since. I was even allowed to take up to 8mg a day but didn't need it. My Dr. outright said that most Dr's don't know you don't build a tolerance unless you abuse it.Oh, and I hate xanax too. Why not make a xanax\klonopin combo, like the old barb combo, tuinal?

Clonazepam is a drug originally manufactured in Brazil for epilepsy. It is a very dangerous drug as even on a minimum dose can cause deadly seizures. Xanax, Valium and many other drugs are appropriate for anxiety. I suspect that this drug is poppular with doctors because it is not necessary to increase or monitor the dose as tolerance develops, unlike the typical benzos.
