I'm very sorry to hear about your situation and you'll be in all my friends and family's prayers...My issue is the Government telling me who I need to see when in fact I have the most unbelievable Dr. that just finished surgery on my lower back. Under Obama's plan I wouldn't have that choice and God help us that not all Dr. like mine are taking an early retirement because of the restraints they plan to hit them with...I feel America is falling apart because of big Government! God bless brother..

I am a citizen in Canada, I am seventeen years old, and have just been recently diagnosed to have a brain tumor last week (I booked my doctors appointment a day previous, they did a scan and I got the results earlier this week), and I am due for my surgery in two weeks.

Everyone can afford this healthcare system, and it does in fact work.

Same deal as you, but my friend was from Canada. They wouldn't see him for months, when they did the cancer was really bad. They pretty much told him he was a done deal!. After he came to Amer. and Fred Hutch. he's now cancer free!...His words were "GOD BLESS AMERICA!!"...He wrote Obama a letter asking him not to change our system, just incase the cancer comes back!

Sorry, but thats simply untrue- no patient in the british health care system that has a non-terminal condition is denied treatment based on costs. Moreover, private healthcare is available in Britain- if your friend could afford treatment in America, he could have had the same treatment privately here in Britain. Your argument is invalid.

American liberals are absolutely clueless. Socialized health care would be a disaster. Even the uninsured Americans still have a decent chance of getting the most outstanding health care in the world. My friend who had cancer came over to America for treatment because the socialist British doctors told him to lay down and die. He doesn't have cancer anymore.
