Opposing the motion that 'This house proposes that the entire population be immunized against seasonal flu and potentially pandemic animal influenzas such as swine flu.'

Andrews points focused around the lack of scientific evidence that would warrant such a move and the threat, already, that increased vaccination rates pose to society.

Debating Science Issues competition is supported by the Welcome Trust (UK). This round was hosted and organized by the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland.

St.Mary's College, Rathmines were opposing and Presentation Warrenmount proposing. St.Mary's were the victors.
