The 10 year old phenom for the Braves, in a photo presentation of the lad's history in major league baseball. Players from 1964 in Milwaukee. Braves greats Spahn, Mathews, Torre, and Giant's Willie Mays. The Milwaukee Journal did a story as did the local Waukegan paper. "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" accompanies these photos, black & white and in color. (The kid never lived up to his baseball potential, but spent almost 30 years in softball leagues.)
A lot of people are bitter that the Braves left. I was born in the '80s so maybe my opinion has little weight on the subject, but the fact is they were a Major League Baseball team in Milwaukee that brought home a World Series championship. The M was on the hat.

Milwaukee has had a very good Baseball History including having perhaps one of the top 3-5 Hitters of all time in Hank Aaron and also one of the best Pitchers of all time in Warren Spahn
