I was wondering how the testing for the soap went because I am very interested as I have seborrheic dermatitis

I read that those with Psoriasis are heavily advised to conduct a patch test first before using Shea Butter. Shea helps cell regeneration, something that psoriasis sufferers don't need because psoriasis occurs when cells of the outer layer of skin regenerate too fast for the body to naturally slough off.

You are right but shea also imparts moisture and so a light application is not harmful :o)

Depends, are you male or female? I have three male testers and 1 female. I am in need of one to two more females as testers :o)

I am male but it would be for a female to test. Maybe me too.

im still interested in the soap but a nutritionist HIGHLY suspects food allergies with my S.D. so if someone is perfectly healthy (no supressed immune system, not hereditary) i HIGHLY suggest cleansing ur body and checking for food allergies!!

Scientists have also considered foods you eat as one of the reason people have SD. What your nutritionist suspects is not new news, but should always be considered in dealing with SD :o)

I bought the shea butter from Agbanga karite and i got 2 of the 1lb jars. How much tea tree oil would i add to the jar? And do I mix with a mixer?

You know, it also may be a good idea if you transform your seborrheic dermatitis soap into some liquid, body wash form. I would like to test it.

it is definably not NEW news....but i was more informed when i did extensive research on the topic. S.D. may not be curable but it "can" be if for some people...you stop eating the foods that trippger it! :)
