  • I just cant figure out getting rid of the split second delay

  • go to your audio options and reduce your latency.

  • do you recomend the axiom 61 midi keyboard

  • Yes! But only if you're going to make use of all of the features. I'll show you how in my next FL tutorial...

  • The trick, allisa, is learning how to listen to your music. Your music will tell you what notes are missing, and what/when you should add and subtract. Your ears will learn when something is not in the right pitch, or too loud, and it will be a really amazing conversation between you and your song. I estimate my work is about 80% listening, and 10% placing notes and 10% mixing/shaping.

  • This is my biggest issue with creating music, is playing the keyboard, I mean how do you make music without knowing how to play the keyboard?

  • I've been writing music nonstop without playing the keyboard. I only use it for the occasional bits where I can't get the rhythm right and I want it to sound natural. Sometimes, I just tap a single note in the right rhythm, and then position the notes into the right pitch with a mouse. Listen to some of my tunes on the website on my front page, and keep in mind that 95% of it was done without keys. That piano song, "a moment of understanding", 100% mousework. • I have a laptop! How can i use my keyboard in Reason?! Thanks!

  • I have my keyboard connected, i created a subtractor and chose a patch and when i play the keyboard it shows up on reason that i am playing, and that it is making sound, but i hear nothing. when i play the drums though, it plays just fine. any ideas why this is happening?

  • @shaunmj100 Propellerhead record, or rewire to another program with that capacity such as FL studio. Or you can buy a software that does that for 40$ I think the link is on the propellerhead website.

  • @ybg33 bounce the track to disk as a wav and then you can burn the wav.

  • @robertsaenz Theres a link to that program on the propellerhead website i believe.

  • @robertsaenz If you have propellerhead record you can do that. ALso if you Re wire to another program that has that feature, such as FL. You can also buy a standalone program that does this for 40$
