Yes, all of that is undeniable. It is also factual that Greece has contributed next to nothing in terms of modern economic theory, finance and taxation, and that shows! The Mayas had an advanced understanding of astronomy, nevertheless their civilization was a stone age one. Yes, I believe too that Greece will survive this crisis. But it will come out of this much poorer and much less creditworthy. The credit rating companies will matter...as far that goes.
