No characters are fantasy.
Meryl and Pierce are real people.
Who both happen to be married and have kids.
If you respected them you wouldn't be making up 'fantasies' about their lives.
It's disrespectful to them and to their partners.
I have no problem and I bet they don't either with Sam + Donna fanfics... because they aren't real.
