My first attempt at synchronizing a pong ball with beats in a song. This is a song.xml file that basically serves as a proof of concept. Beats are laid out in an XML file, with the time signatures corresponding to when in the song each beat occurs: http://xml.pastebin.com/f1e5cbe33
Each time the ball hits the paddle, the next beat is found, and the horizontal velocity of the ball is modified to make the ball move to the other side and hit when the next beat will occur.

  • @NKCrime There is a lot more going on in this video than meets the eye. This ball is technically synchronized to the beats laid out in XML that I show in the beginning of the video, and in the pastebin link in the description. The song is not playing in this video, but check out the other 2 for better examples.
