First of 3 for making a hull. Here is the link for the hull pattern
http://sciencetoymaker.org/boat/images/boatHull.PDF
It is a PDF file. Do not scale it when you print it.

  • Dear Sir,

I am from Kuala Lumpur ,Malaysia and my name is Raymond

I would very much like to make the put put boat for my grandson to play.I have followed your video closely on how to make the engine, but the boat pattern is hard to make.

Appreciate that you will be able to send me the pattern to my e mail address raymondokc@gmail.com.

Or where in the sciencetoymaker web site where I can find the pattern for the boat hull.

    Thanks & regards

    Raymond

  • @Raymond37733 I don't know how YouTube videos display in Maylaysia, but here there is a text information box that starts with, "First of 3 for making a hull. Here is the link for the hull..." . There is an arrow to "see more." If you click that you should see the link to the hull pattern. It's also at the sciencetoymaker website.

  • when i print it it turns small

  • @scooterfreak291164 Are you printing the PDF pattern? When you are about to print, you will get a dialogue box. You have to make sure that it is not scaling as it prints.

  • Can I use smaller milk carton?

  • @manoffire11 If you use a smaller milk carton you will have to create your own design.

  • its cool thanks

  • when I print it it becomes small

  • @e2044 Oops, I thought you meant holes in the hull. To seal holes in the engine you would have to use epoxy, or maybe silicone sealant, which does not melt. I think you'll have to start over. Sorry about the misunderstanding.

  • @sciencetoymaker i got it but the engine gets so hot the glue just melts :(
