Despite my old English Kumikyuko currently going under fire, I made an English version of Shimo-san's 4th medley -- the Ryuuseigun. Funny isn't it?, but this is what I enjoy doing. I'm open to any kind of comments, so feel free to post anything as long as it falls in the region of constructive criticism.
Some clarification to be made beforehand:
- Most of the lyrics here are adapted from their original translation, so they are not the exact translation of the lyric. I even changed the translation of some part to make it fit with the rhythm (for example, the Cheetahman BUG part, "I will not lose to those (programming) BUGs" into "BUG killing is my thing"), but most of them should be faithful to their original Japanese version.
- Many parts are from my previous Kumikyoku which was based on Maiki's Lyric, and used ChristinaVee's HareHareYukai.
- God Knows lyric is from Chrissii's version which I couldn't find it on youtube anymore. (I only have it saved in my computer.)
- MELT part is from Melting by an American. (sm2546822)
- I snatched a few words from Rusty's English Ryuuseigun, i.e. "Goodnight to the mistakes", "Wanna do it". (sm3131116)
- I also snatched a few words from Ashiyachan's Kumikyoku, i.e. "I don't really know that kind of magic".
- The Kaze no Doukei part was adapted based on Kanipan's version. (Yoake no sora ni....) I'm not really sure if it's Dawn or Dusk she was singing about. (My bad Japanese...= w =) I was biasly translating it towards Dawn though.
- And I can't seem hit high notes too. It took me half an hour trying to record the second part of Marisa stole the precious thing before I gave up and decided to lower the singing key. In Miku Miku ni shi ageru I tried to fight with the high key and probably killed the rhythm and tone. LOL
