St Patrick's Day 2009 Macroom County Cork Ireland.

Woodland String Band from Philadelphia at the St Patrick's Day Parade in Macroom County Cork Ireland. I had a job holding the camera steady as the leader of the band had me in stitches with his dancing. His leggins slipped sideways and made him look bandy which added to the mirth. He had the XFactor alright. I'll give him 20 out of 10 for effort and the band played great music too. Oh yea ........ and the Craic was 90.

I was the captain/leader of the band in Macroom. The dance was the "mummers strut". And our costumes change every year. This year our "theme" was "Egypt", so the costumes you see are Egyptian. When mollyisagooddog said we have a ball, you are right, it was a fantastic time. I really hope I can go again next year.
