***Update*** 4/7/10 I never ended up selling this, but I do keep it because it is so lovely, and maybe one day I'll use it for my own or a friends baby ;)

Okay you've seen it cameo in tons of my videos and it's finally done! My baby blanket I made is finally finished.

Used 2 rows each color of double crochet, 1 row multicolor of popcorn stitch and repeat.

  • I have found that after washing and drying my finished crochet projects if I put them in a space saver bag, when it's opened it still smells like the fabric softner I used to dry it.

  • @grammissy That sounds wonderful! I will try that fo the blankets I'm making for Christmas! Thanks!

  • Hi

Could you video you starting the blanket? I would like to see how you find the chains to start your first row. I've heard that if you use a thinner piece of wool, so you have a thicker blanket still, that the thinner piece of wool is easier to find, then just feeling for the stitch. Is this true?

    TY

  • Sure. I will try to make that soon as I have a new webcam now. I've never heard of the thinner yarn part, but I'm sure that would work just fine too as usually you will border that first chain row and hardly notice it. That's something I might try now!

  • are you still selling blankets? If so what are the costs and measurements? Can you do specific colors?

  • I'm not sure what the costs or measurements would be. I think I tried selling the baby blanket like 2 years ago, but it never sold. I guess I could try to if you guys needed me to, but I wouldn't know what to charge or anything.
