My daughter and I had the pleasure of seeing this group in Bend, OR a couple years ago. They are amazing! Left us wanting more! Their commentary between songs is fun and playful. I highly recommend them if you ever get the chance.
I'd have to disagree with that, I think that all mens groups are just as versatile as a capella groups with women. SNC is an outstanding example of that versatility. I tend to prefer all male a capella as a matter of fact. They don't quite reach that screeching, breaking glass, range, which I've found can happen in some groups.
Yeah i agree with countryboy, all male a capella groups are prob just as versatile as womens group if not more. And yeah they cant reach as high as mariah carey but they go high enough to meet the purpose of most songs. And i just enjoy the blend of males voices VS the blend of both 2gether.
A men's choir will always have lower voices than that of a women's choir. As a result, the soundwaves of men's voices are longer and can blend more easily resulting in overtones. A women's choir consists of much higher frequencies and therefore comes across as screechy at times. Men's voices naturally blend better than women's and therefore a good men's choir will tend to sound better than a good women's choir, especially in a capella music where competing voices work against one another.
Umm, this group is a different straight no chaser. Straight No Chaser does have record deal, but its a class that graduated before this group a while ago. This group is after them.
