I hope she finds that love she really deserves. I respect this sista 100%, there is no doubt in my mind that someone will connect with her and look at whats beyond the surface and will see that she will have alot to contribute to the relationship. Helen, please do not feel discouraged no one by any means is perfect and we are all have flaws.

People are more worried with outter apperence then what is in a person's heart. Doing so can make a person miss out on their soulmate.

many, if not most people, are afraid of the unknown. however, i disagree with helen when she stated that after her girlfriend revealed why she couldn't be with her 100%, she realized that other people must have been thinking the same thing. maybe not. they may have left the relationship for other reasons: personality conflict, issues with their own sexuality, etc. helen you owe it to yourself to keep your heart open - no one gets through this life without getting hurt. no one.

You know, it really hurts when you go through a storm with a mate you been with for so long invested. Then, she decide that she want out. It makes you wonder why even bother to fight for our rights, anymore as studs / lesbians. Helen, everybody has a disability in life. And it's called "Deception". Soon as you get comfortable, someone throws up a brick wall, or curve ball...to destroy what makes us shine & grow in a positive way. Stay Strong.
