Les Baxter's title track from the motion picture "Bora Bora" released by AIP and directed by Ugo Liberatore. A pioneer of "exotica" music in the 1950s, Baxter turned to film work by the late '60s. This film would mark his return to the exotica sound, which influence such composer/producers as Brian Wilson. Coming full circle, Wilson's opus "Pet Sounds" clearly influenced the sound and feel of this record, specifically the use of an electric bass guitar over the traditional double bass heard in Baxter's earlier work.
