  • 160 degrees is the safe temp to make sure any ecoli is gone. For those who don't like it that done, like me, there is irradiated ground beef that you can cook like a steak. Thanks for your comment.

    160 is medium and is only at this point you can make sure all the ecoli if any is present is dead. At 160 internal tempature it won't be pink inside.

  • @wegmansfoodmarkets 160 is well done. well done, any cook should know, is BAD ESPECIALLY for burgers.

    burgers can be cooked from 135-160. for SAFETY.

    for safety and flavor...get it to med rare temp.
