Kenyas economy grew by 2.6 per cent in 2009 compared to 1.6 per cent in 2008. This is according to the 2010 Economic Survey, which projects the country's economic recovery will continue into this year.
@siasa: I am glad that my projections have come to pass. The short term stimulus policy was the smartest thing to do. The challenge now is to bring the cost of production down and to encourage entrepreneurship. I am glad that there has been tremendous investment in infrastructure more so in the power sector and communication. This will increase the supply of power and bring the cost down. Political stability,streamlining bureaucracy, improving security and justice system is integral.
they actually grew at 7% for 2010
